Preschool Curriculum

A planned curriculum is followed throughout the year.  The curriculum may include events of the month or season, current situations in the group, themes initiated by the children or based on their personal life experiences. According to each theme, the teachers prepare activities such as games, plays, experiments, cooking, songs, books, observations, outside activities, field trips or visitors, parties, arts & crafts, and room decorations. Examples of themes are: animals, families, seasons, professions, transportation, and senses. The curriculum of the preschool is kept flexible. It can and will be adjusted and changed to meet the needs of the children and the group.

Morning Circle Time

Morning Circle Time is an activity that takes place every morning at SABIS® Preschool Adma. During this time, the class comes together to discuss subjects like the weather, the calendar, the agenda for the day, and sing songs. Morning Circle Time promotes learning, confidence, routine, and prepares students for larger group activities in the next level.

Literacy & Language

Literacy and language enrichment activities are designed to develop a love of reading. Children gather to hear a story being read, sing a song, or act out a favorite book. This develops the preschoolers’ patience, listening skills, understanding of the world around them, and vocabulary.  SPS Adma uses quality children's literature to help foster a lifelong love of reading.

Music & Movement

Music and movement is another exciting part of the day. Children learn and participate in a variety of action songs, poems, and rhymes during this time. Music and movement session help expand the preschoolers’ vocabulary and develop strong oral and listening skills.
