Philosophy and Goals
SABIS® Preschool Adma is a place where children are given the opportunity to learn and grow as whole individuals. To do so, activities address the needs of the whole child. We believe that social, physical, emotional, and cognitive growth are interrelated and are of equal value. The preschool is designed to encourage and guide children in the development of self-direction, individual responsibility, and intellectual growth. We believe that children can reach their full potential if they are able to develop a positive self-image. Therefore, our preschool offers an environment in which students can learn to choose their activities, cooperate, share, and form friendships with peers.
At SABIS® Preschool Adma, our goal is to ensure that children develop the skills and acquire the knowledge needed for a smooth transition to a full-day Kindergarten program at any of our SABIS® Network schools.
We aim to foster the preschooler’s:
- Physical development, building on kinesthetic intelligence
- Emotional development, building on intrapersonal intelligence
- Social development, building on interpersonal intelligence
- Cognitive development, building on logical mathematical and linguistic intelligence
- Artistic development, building on visual/spatial and musical intelligence
- Development of appreciation of the environment, building on natural intelligence
